Yeti ASR vs. Ironhorse Azure World Cup

Ok, first, my question: Would you prefer a Yeti ASR-SL (with pro kit) used one season, or a brand new Ironhorse Azure world cup?

Now, the background: My team is switching from Yeti to Ironhorse this year because our DH contingent is growing and the Yeti 303 is ridiculously expensive even with prodeal. All the XC guys are pissed, because we don't want Ironhorse's, we want our Yeti's which are some of the lightest, best XC frames you can buy (and we buy them CHEAP!). SO, I can't decide if I want to get a new Ironhorse this year, or keep my Yeti which has been raced hard and needs a bunch of work to get back to racing condition. I can sell my Yeti for about as much as I'm getting the new Ironhorse, by the way.
Besides the Yeti being an overall superior bike (IMO), my other consideration is that I'm not sure how much the Ironhorses resell for. Does anybody have any experience with this? We loved Yeti because we could sell the bikes for more than we bought them for after a year, so once the initial investment was out of the way getting new bikes was totally free.

So, if anyone has ridden the Ironhorse, please give your opinion, or if anyone has ridden both, or if you just feel like posting something, go for it. I can't decide between the two.

It is too bad that the DH and XC are tied together like that. I know everyone is gaga over Sundays now, but is there any way the DH team can be talked into a compromise and consider ASXs instead of 303s? I was in a similar position as your DH team members about the 303 - - that's one reason I'm riding for Transition now.

How 'bout doing a little rebadging? KHS factory teams have done this, as did Honda with Turners in the pre-G-Cross days. Keep your Yeti and stick Iron Horse decals all over it.

Sorry, I'm probably not being much help. I really feel for you, though. I'm sure you won't see the resale out of Iron Horses that you did with your Yetis. IH is in that same class as KHS and Diamondback, IMO. The best you can hope to do is grit your teeth for this season and work on solid plans for maybe split-purchase plans for next season. Good luck.

So that was like a year ago then, right? Does it mean you'll love your bike less on the 366th day?

Say what? It's more helpful if you just say what you mean instead of making me guess without the aid of body language.
No, it means I'm not getting a new Yeti and continuing the trend of getting free bikes every year. This year, if I get an IH, I'll be getting it for near free, but then next year can I still make my money back? Probably not.

Send the Yeti to CycleArt for a complete IH makeover, and dress it in the most conspicuous IH parts group, then ride it wearing a Yeti mask, carrying a pickaxe. When IH reps approach you about what type of frame you are riding, tell them it is a secret, show them the pick, and ride away laughing.

Do you not like the DW link for XC? Do you think The Ellsworth ICT system will be available by late spring for IH? Do you think it will be better? I'm sure they will build a whole new frame and dial it in with the new ICT System. Maybe this is a good thing.
As far as you question on getting your money back. I think it will be hard to sell a DW IH when a completely new revamped frame shows up promoting the new link, whether it's better or not.
I know the DW-Link contract cancels in March maybe they will release the new 2010's early. Who know if it will be better though.
