Snow and cold.....

Lowcel, I think it is alway open, just not cleared during snow. I was up there in February last year
trout fishing and we drove up past Tea Creek and got on 150 there and drove around to Rt 219.
There are signs warning you that they roads are closed during snow.

LowCel, glad you mentioned this site. Gives me more to read when I get bored.

Well, Mountwood. Don't know.. I've been out the only a few times this year so far.
Went out this past Monday evening and tried to do the Clydesdale / Sport course from
last year on my new HT and it kicked my a$$. Wish the weather would have been
better this weekend, I could get in some more ridding. I guess I'll get on the stationary
bike and at least keep the circulation going.

Are you ready?

I dunno, guess I'll find out if I am ready. I have a little over 1,900 miles in for the year so far and six races. All of that has been on the roadie though. My first mountain bike ride for the year will be Sunday at Mountwood. Hopefully I remember how to ride that big tired monster.

Oh, he'll be there. He's already complaining about how you're in shape from all your road racing & how you will leave him in the dust...

That's alright, I've only got another year or two. After that I'm sure I will be in line asking him for his autograph.

Hey LowCel, did you get the flyer from Mountwood? I see they are having a downhill race on Saturday,
it's off the Moon and then at 3pm they are having "Time Trails"? Not sure what that is about, but they
are going to be starting up at the power substation and coming all the way down Haystack which sounds
like fun. That's my favorite downhill run. You can really fly down it. It's also the one with that tall
bridge and that boardwalk you saw in those pictures last year. I may have to give that a try if I can
get in on it. I'm going to send another email and ask them about the time trail.

I'm getting too old for this stuff, I may have to whuus out and just do beginner again this year. That
sport lap is a killer on this old man....

If I can stand the cold, I might try to slip in a ride this weekend again. We'll see ya somewhere before
long. If not at the race.
