New Clipless
I just won a pair of Time ATAC Z's with cleats(brand new) for $73 shipped and handled. I didn't get them yet, but hopefully will be here soon. I was wondering if you guys think this is a good deal or not.

I can't wait until they get here.

To me, dealing with the potential for fraud/lack of return service/warranty/etc that come with buying via ebay is only worth it if I save a good amount of money (i.e. >10%).
If I can get it for nearly the same price from a reputable store (i.e. pricepoint), I do that, to avoid the problems mentioned above.
Still, sounds like you got some nice pedals for a reasonable price. Now all you have to do is get out there and ride the hell out of them!

Sorry about that, you won on Ebay. I thought it was one of those "you won a trip, but you have to pay $nnn to claim it."
$73 shipped sounds okay. I usually compare with Pricepoint, Jenson and the various others before going fishing on Ebay.

After I started bidding on ebay I then found out about the ones for $65 or whatever on pricepoint. I guess I didn't get a great deal, but I have new pedals that are awesome(didn't get to ride them yet) for a decent price and I don't have to buy shoes because I got some from my friend for free. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THEY COME!

FWIW, this is the process I go through when shopping for a particular bike part.
I check
- https://www.bestwebbuys.com/bikes/index.html
- https://froogle.com
- PricePoint / Jenson / etc.
- Ebay (Completed transactions!)
All of the above will tell you what a good value is. Then pay attention to some BuyItNow or some active auctions and see if any are showing up below the market value found above. Those are the ones you pounce on. Alternatively, if you see tons of stuff selling on average for a given price you know how much to bid and won't get carried away overbidding on something.
Recently I was shopping for some compact cranks and found one guy selling BuyItNow for much less than anywhere else I had ever seen including his own previous auctions. I think he may have done a typo or something. I immediately bought them and am very happy with that transaction. A+++++

I love the BuyItNow things, but they only had SPD's and a pair of Time Alium's that I didn't find until after I bidded. But they weren't the ones I wanted anyhow because they didn't have the platform.

Woohoo! I got them today. They are sooo easy to clip in/out of and they're great. They were brand new with box and everything. First race with them this Saturday.
