Looking for some tail...
well, a hardtail that is. turns out the homeowners insurance is going to help cover part of replacing my stolen bike. I can either rebuild my dream bike! start from scratch and build up something new, or buy a complete. so bikeforums, my question for you is this, what should i do?
option one: rebuild a stumjumper option two: build up a schwinn homegrown frame option three: buy a complete Yeti ARC option four: get a full suspension bike What SHOULD I DO!?!? |
ooooo . . . option 3 or 4. ARC would be sweet indeed. But, then again, you're in God's country where the rocks and hills are big and gnarly. Go FS if you can ;)
You probably have the terrain to support the idea of purchasing a full-suspension mountainbike.
eh not too many big stunts around here. we have lots of climbing and fast singletrack though...
Lightweight, short travel(~4"), full suspension.
Something like the Giant Trance would be nice.
Arc

Yeti Arc FTW. ****, I'm going to go look at pictures right now....
My vote is get the Yeti ASR-sl (in the pink... fastest color;)) or if you really don't want suspension then the arc is pretty sick.
I'll sell you an ASR-sl (large) used one season for the price of a new ARC :)
PM me. |
fine. you talked me into it. i'll get a full suspension.
