My week in Arizona (pic heavy)

I went to Arizona last week for a friend's wedding. My family is down there so every time I visit I have a bike to borrow. This week it was my old Bianchi DISS that I sold my my little bother a few years ago. I spent 9 days there, rode every day or a total of 16h45m and about 150 miles in the saddle. Some highlights were Sedona and an epic 5 hours ride over the McDowell moutains, around the Pemberton loop, and back over the McDowells. Here's some pics...

I rode in Sedona during spring break and it is awsome out there. I'm from Michigan so very different riding style.

Yes, different indeed. I've been living in Oregon for the past couple years and it's completely different from the AZ trails I grew up on. I feel like I rookie here and I fall a lot. I have handle big loose rocks, but if you put a wet root in front of me I fall over. It's refreshing to ride my home trails every now and then to realize I actually can ride a bike. I just can't decide if one is better than the other. I think it's just different, which is why it's good to travel and ride every where.

Mmmmm...Sedona. Fagerlin's got some awesome videos of riding out there. I decided I'll have to take a spring time trip down there at some point after watching them.

Nice pics. I'm utterly jealous of your trip.
