I also know that its all in jest. And anyone that IS sickened by it should go watch some beastiality porn to truly know the meaning of sick...

Not judging Americans, per se, however, I think that its odd that it went to the point wher my daughter is judged a "bad" park warden with a weird dad who gets a smile out of thinking of the fun that some can have with handcuffs...and yes, it's fun

Apparently, some have problems with this, but as a product of the sixties, I'm still into that free love, sex, and rock'n'roll...had to stop the drugs 31 years ago when the kid was born

cheers

Someone comes up to me on a trail and asks me questions...they damn well better be in uniform or they p## off. Anybody can claim to be whatever and if they are not showing the correct and proper credentials, get the F'N out of my space. I would fight that citation all the way and if not signed by the ranger, it's probably going to get tossed. The majority of times when people get cited, the just roll over and pay the fine...if indeed not guilty, fight it all the way. Show up in court, dress well, be polite, explaine the ranger was not in uniform and then ask the question about them being required to be in uniform while on the job. I think it will get tossed. And $8. to ride OUR TRAILS PAID FOR BY US TAXPAYERS...bull crapola. Got to make sure these inept, ill qualified, union protected, government leeches get their bloated benefits and juicy salary with NO accountability for performance or qualification. Truth is most of these people could not/would not survive in the business world.
Let us know how you do.

You'd be surprised...there are two types of gov't workers...office bound drones that have no motivation and live in a rigid strutured world, and there are those out in the field, but because of the competition to get these jobs, the hiring bar is very high. Some very good people, including many with successfull corporate experience apply for these jobs, and only the very best get hired.

I had a opportunity to review the applications for a senior provincial job...1800 resumes were rec'd for one position.

The last job my daughter got, there were 184 internal applicants

anyway, the $8.00 fee includes parking, insurance, clean facilities, and trail maintenance, and they make no money...why should taxpayers who don't use these trails have to pay higher taxes so a few bikers have free access?

Like one of our elected officials (the true parasites) recently said "I'm entitled to my entitlements"

This is just the nature of the beast. One could argue in this same sense, that they shouldn't have to pay school taxes as either they have no kids, thei kids are grown and gone, or their kids attend private schools for which they already pay dearly. You could argue that why should I have to pay for support of public transportation as I don't use it nor is it available in my area or areas I frequent. I have never needed nor used police protection, therefor I shouldn't be subjected to their taxes either. Your stand (although I can see its' validity) is flawed in that the "usage defense" doesn't hold up. They have every right to their use just as much as any other person, and those that do use something shouldn't be penalized any harsher. One could aruge that they have never been sick in the last 10 years, therefor all of their healthcare costs should be returned to them. Why don't these fair use laws apply to healthcare? Those who smoke and drink excessively and get no exercise at all should have to pay higher rates and deductibles, but that isn't the case as the 450 lb guy that works with me (he smokes, drinks, and doesnt exercise) pays the same deductible and rates as the rest of the company. Why should this be as he is defintely a higher risk due to lifestyles than the others??? I am not a sports fan, so why should I have to pay taxes that give discounts to build new sports arenas and auditoriums. Why don't they pass this expense on to the people that do buy the tickets and do attend?? They do this with schooling as well, why should I have to pay exhuberant prices to attend college so that the latest NCAA college coach can be paid 1.5 million while the teachers only get 70-80K? I don't attend aporting events, so why not pass that cost off on to the poeple that do???

I to would like to know what park this was in NC???

I'd be uncomfortable with my daughter being out in the woods alone writing people tickets and not being armed. A baton-wow
