Bikes: '94 Giant Yukon. The only thing on the bike that is stock is the QR for the seat post. Everything else is custom made for me and my style of riding. 2001 Giant NRS Custom Built as well.

I found a mountain biking country girl.
I aint real sure how I did it, but I did it. I guess it isn't such a hard thing to do, but it was for me. Any ways that is how we started talking. She was asking one of her co-workers about bike stuff and I happend to be sitting right next to her when she was doing this. So I offered my assitance and a couple of days later I asked her out and the rest is history. We will be getting married on July 28th of this year. The best part is I can wear my cowboy hat and riding shorts and she doesnt laugh. J/K.

Ah, the best riding partner of all. Sounds like you got yourself a good match there. Congratulations, and best wishes to the both of you.
btw, cowboy hats are awesome.

Excellent! Country girls are great - compared to the horses, pigs and cows, they think I'm a real catch!

Montrose, huh. Not too far from the Black Canyon of the Gunnison? I've been thru there a 3times over 35 years. It is a rural area more or less-nothing like Denver,Boulder,Aspen,Vail-more akin to the TX panhandle complete with the high winds.Lot colder(a bitter dry windy cold I remember), of course, but more TX than Colo.
I would think it would be a pretty good place to find a country girl.
We do need pictures!
Luck and congrats
Charlie

Montrose. Was there for a week in the 80's. Serious cow town. Straight up people. My guess is that your woman comes from good stock. Appears you did very well. Wishing you the best from Sacramento.
