n-stop jump stop on a Giant Trance?
I'm building up a new rig 1x8 and I've heard a lot of people are quite happy with the the jump stops. It seems as though there *might* be enough clearance even with the swing arm when I eye it up, but I would rather hear yay or nay before placing an order. Just want to know if I should be digging out an old derailleur.

I'll post a pic of the built rig up but I did get the Jump stop to fit and it works fine.

To the OP: Get one. (edit: well, you did; now use it.) It does the job very well. I ran 1x8/9 off and on for a long time, and the Jumpstop with a bashring outer works great! Obviously have your chainline and rear shifting dialed in well, run as short a chain as your suspension travel will allow, and you're golden. If you haven't already, when your current chainring needs replacement, swap it out for an unramped ring.
