Use of a helmet...

Going down some trails in the forest with some speed, i encountered a branch at neck hight, i duck and the thing hits me on the head (helmet). I wasn't hurt, just shocked since i thought i cleared it.

Few seconds later i notice my helmet felt funny... oh crap.
Now I am looking for a new helmet, since i didn't find the piece that flew off anywhere.

Check if the helmet manufacturer has a crash-replacement policy. You'll be able to buy the new one at discount.

Its a Bell, i will read up on that. Never thought they would have such a policy.

well, i just epoxied the plastic thing to the foam part. i used cotton as a fiber lol... lets see how it holds.

It worked real good.

:eek:Just get a new one. SERIOUSLY! You have no idea how the epoxy will react with the foam. It could break it down (bad) or harden it (also bad)

Well it didn't eat the foam out, and i couldn't get a new helmet cause everything was closed yesterday, though I'm going out today to get a new helmet today.

OK i bought a new helmet... AN OTHER ALCHERA, i didn't find anything else that fit so snug. All the mets and giros (even the most expensive ones) just don't fit. I think i should buy one more just to keep cause there running low.
The blue one cause thats all they had
