Wife's new bike

Got my wife a new bike. 2003 Giant Iguana. $519 retail price. Seems like a really nice intermediate bike.

I really like the Rock-Shox Pilot C compared to the manitou 6 on my Trek. The Giant comes with deore rear, and the avilo front derailer.

We plan to do some single track rides with it soon, it will ever stop raining for 1 day. Anyhow, now my daughter has inherited my wife's old bike which is a 92 model Iron Horse.

Very cool.

Great to see other riding couples. My wife and I have been riding together since '96.

Now that our daughter is 10 1/2. Biking is a great way for us to do things together.

She can keep up pretty well, especially now that she has a real mountain bike, before she had a kids bike with 24" tires, that got stuck in every hole and root.

Also my daughter has a kids Trek road bike that we got for $300 has Shimano components and 650 wheels, havn't riden much this year because of the weather but hope to soon.

my wife and I really enjoy being outdoors... I think that riding will give us more time together.
