Check out my BIKE (part 2)!!!

Thanks to all who have helped me in my efforts to build an awesome bike...that dream has become a reality and I owe a lot of you for the great advice you have given. This bike is truly a child of this forum. Enjoy!

BEFORE

AND AFTER!!!

The tires are a little dirty because i have been breaking this bad boy in!! Also you might notice that im using V-brakes in the front and thats becuase the LBS didnt have the correct adapter for my caliper, so thats just temporary till they get it in...and i prefer the shimano v-brake in the back...saves my fingers from being posted on these forums later.

looks pretty nice, only thing I would change would be to get a different crank, with a smaller big ring.

No, you did nothing wrong. I have filters at work that won't let me see photobucket or imageshack pics.

Probably more like 25+, but a great bike nonetheless.

Only thing I would ditch is the crank, or at least the fugly plastic bashguard thing.

wow it weights 30 lbs...i think maybe thats because of the low-end crankset and an extra vbrake

Ehh, don't worry about weight so much as long as you have fun on it.

Upgrading to a higher end crankset (and presumably bb) will save you a pound or two at most. And v-brakes are about 1/3 to 1 lb each.
