I currently own the Kenda K-Rads.. they seem to be pretty decent pavement and dirt tires due to the checker pattern on them..

I've noticed I can't climb some dirt hills because I loose a lot of traction in my back tire.. I usually end up making it up most of the hills but I know there are better tires out there... my problem is that I wan't something that can peform well on the road but also on dirt and dirt hills..

Will the Specialized Crossroads make much of a difference for me, or should I be looking at more off-road tires for the off road peformance I'm looking for?
