Giant Rainier opinions

I am looking at getting a new hardtail. It looks to me like the Giant Rainier is the best buy in the $700 range. I am curious, if there are any owners here or anyone who has had experience with the bike, what do you think, is it a good trail riding bike, and believe me, I will beat it to death on some trails!

Have you ridden it? If so, does it fit you? Do you like it? if so , then slap the 700 bones down & ride it away.
