old bike computer doesn't fit new bike?

so i just found my specialized bike computer that i had on an old mountain bike. problem is it doesn't fit my new bike(with the bigger diameter fork), is there a way around this or do i need a new computer? do they make computers that fit mountain bikes with forks? bike is a marin bobcat hardtail.

oh, i just got some specialized hemisphere semi slicks too. i'm running them at 42 psi on pavement. is that too low? thanks guys. i have searched a little, didn't find what iw as looking for.
