Which one of these 3 bikes would you recommend?

After shopping around and asking you guys for some advice, i am finally set on these 3 bikes but i can't decide which one to get.

1: CANNONDALE F5

What i like about CANNONDALE is that it's made here in the U.S.A, the handmade part is just the icing on the cake, i heard that most bikes are made overseas, even the bikes in the LBS, i also like Rock Shox and disc brakes which i heard are better then the regular V brakes (don't know what the difference is)

2: Specialized Rockhopper Disc

I have a Specialized bike and it's a nice bike, this bike and the Cannondale look pretty similar to me except that i do not know where Specialized bikes are made.

3: Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc

Great bike, the only problem here is that the forks are RST which i am assuming are not as good as Rock Shox since Hardrock is the bottom line of the Specialized.

Please tell me which bike i should buy and why, and if you don't have time to explain that then just reply (vote) with the bike number 1 , 2 or 3

Any suggestion or advice would be great, thanks.

I'm a big fan of Specialized and there have been so many good posts about the Rockhopper. If I ever wanted a second ATB I'd consider it. My ATB is an '05 Santa Cruz Blur Classic. Also, my closest and favorite LBS sells Specialized, not Cannondale. So, my vote is 2. Good luck, make sure you post pics of the rig you buy.

Personally I would go with the Rockhopper. But really just go with which one feels the best.

go for the hardrock and upgrade the fork with the cash saved, especially if you do the work yourself. The hardrock frame has a burlier feel than the rockhopper.

Let's face it, what ever bike you get, you'll love. But first, you need to make sure it fits. That will be the key. Personally, like a majority of the people who are suggesting Specialized, I would recommend the C-dale as it was my first bike, that I still have and love. I don't think you can go wrong with either, as they are similarly equipped. The Cannondale is nice because you can always upgrade to a lefty or fatty later. Both are extremely nice forks that will last. I also know that the C-dale frame is upgrade worthy but don't know too much about the S-frame.

Since you were leaning toward the C-dale for altruistic reasons, go that way, if it fits. Go try it out and see what you think. Make sure the bike store "fits" you before letting you out with the bike.

If price is not an option for you, Id do rochhopper disc all day long. B/w Rockhopper and Hardrock, youre looking at many upgraded components by going with the former.

You've got good taste. All three have a good reputation. I own a 05 Rockhopper and it's been great. My son uses it now since I went to a Specialized XC Comp. The Rockhopper was so good, I stayed with Specialized if that says anything.
No matter what, you can't lose with that trio.
