Just bought a Garmin GPS How should I mount it?

I just got a Garmin etrex LEGEND gps...I don't want to buy a handlebar mount but i want a temporary mount so i can remove it when the ride is done...

Any suggestions?

just spend the $13 and get the damm mount....

works great on my Vista cx

Get the mount or duct tape it. Cut the ducttape when done riding.

Get the mount, I had to go to ebay to find one but it's worth every penny (all $15 worth).

I put it in my pack on "record tracklog" and analyse the ride after-the-fact.

I take it out when I get lost.

just stick it in your pack. The fun of the GPS is generally the post ride data. If you're hopelessly lost and need your data on the trail to pick your way out, then you have time to dig through your pack really quikly and dig it out.

By far and away, the best GPS mounts Ihave used are from RAM. I use them in my car and more importantly on my dualsport motorcycle. Well made and they have yet to let me down.
I wouldnt want a 'temp' option myself, but Im a geek...
