Trek Fuel 70 2005
Hi Guys.
Been without a mountain bike for over a year now and I am really missing it. My road bike is fun and all but I miss the nature and being away from cars!
My LBS has a trek Fuel 70 (05) model for 1099 Canadian + taxes. I need to buy clip less pedals as well which are another 80 (and they will not bargain on the price, they are solid on it). I would like to get any opinions on if this is a good deal, not sure how good of a deal a 05 fuel 70 is @ 1099 or I should look for something with a better design or value?
Looking for a Full suspension in the 1000-1600 range for XC casual riding only (meaning I want something that cushions and not concerned about being first int he pack)

for xc and casual riding, i would get a hardtail, but some people like that extra comfort. id say ride it some and ask if you can rent it out. a bike store in my town let me rent out a trek fuel 6, 06 model, and i loved it.
