I don't have a special tool. What is the best way to clean a chain without one?

Soak it in a container of gasoline, then rinse it off with water.

Mk-V super solvent to clean.

Then lube it.


Not sure if it's the best, but it's what I do, and works great for me.

you need to go to a bike shop and buy the most expensive chain cleaner they have or your chain will fall off and turn to dust....
