4th of July- N* = Fun and Hot

How did everyone's 4th of July go? Hopefully safe?

Northstar was off the hook. Not crowded out all. Went up w/ two buddies in my car, then met a couple other buddies from the shop up there. Josh is now running Spangler's 07 Bullit, (sold his Prophet) and was ripping that all day. The trails were, SUPER loose, even w/ 2.5 Minions at like 35 PSI. Go too low in the berms, and your front tire washes out, and OTB! Crashed about a dozen times. Crapped the **** out of my pants on the double black diamond part of Karpiel! Walked most of it, some gnarly stuff for sure. All in all, it was very humbling. I went up there thinking I was alright at DH, but come back feeling like a little peon(?)

Half of my day I did singletrack XC on the local mountain...the other half I did dirt jumping in the clearing behind my neighborhood...

Went to stewart buffer zone with friend's dad, but it was rainy later that day after we got back. Single track is fun
