new back wheel, rim hub and spokes?

i've broke my back wheel, anybody got any recommendations on a new rim and type of spokes to get? and do ye think the shimano FH-M525 VIA hub would be worth upgrading, probably will be i've chipped a bit inside it and the barrings are pitting against the bit that goes closes into the hubs, so with my being a fat git and rattling the bike offroad a fair bit, what's a good wheel set up to get that will basically be bomb proof and handle alot of abuse? the hub will need to fit a 6"(i think) juicy 3 rotor btw..

i'm going to give the guy up at wheel craft(apparently one of the best in central scotland for wheel building) a shout tonight about getting it hand built and to see what he recommends, but just curious to see what the mtbers on here have to say if anything so i've some sort of knowledge?

Are you positive you need a new wheel though?
Have you got a picture?

aye need a new rim atleast my brother can generally fix pretty whacked out rims, but he says this ones well twisted beyond repair, no pictures he's got it in his work to have a look at it, the now..

the guy at this shop is recommended by a fair few people was just really looking for a quick track on whats good and bad in the wheel business these days before i go, so i don't look like a complete gimp!

actually i do have a picture, think this is after the spokes where all loosend, the spokes where tight and loose at the wrong sides for adjusting it properly..not sure as to the state he's got it in just now, got an email saying i might get away with it, but sounds very much like it's only a matter of time before it goes way out again.
