Bent chainstay?
Ok, I don't know the name of the part, but it's the upper chainstay, where it goes up to the seat tube, anyway, is it supposed to have a slight curve in it? And outward curve. Just want to be save.

What kind of bike? Many frames have bent seatstays for better tire clearance.

My bike is displayed in my sig... Yeah it is the seat stay I suppose... I'l post pics later. But in your opinion, what height is safe to jump on a Trek 4500 for a 130 lb rider?

I guess it's made like that. It's bent at the welds and it appears to be symetrical so I guess it's fine.
