    I bought a K2 Sidewinder today, They say its a special edition bike or something

    it's not the best bike in the world, but also not the absolute worst either. you probably should have gone with a hardtail in this price range, but you should enjoy the rear suspension. just beware that if you really get into mountain biking, you'll be upgrading to a better bike in about 6 months. maybe a year.

    ok, he's right. you shouldn't care what we think of it now that you bought it. as long as you like it, that's really all that matters.
    now when you break something or need help with something, then come asking for advice. because breaking things and things messing up is inevitable on any bike.

    The frame looks decent, the fork and deraillers are not great but should hold up to light/medium punishment. I'm not a fan of Tektro discs, and dunno anything about the rear shock. I say take the trails by storm and just replace stuff as they break or if they prove unworthy.
