    helmet cam users....

I'm going across the country on sept 1st for a mtb trip across the states. I want to use a helmet cam. My buddy works at my LBS and can get me a twenty 20 cam for holesale. I decided that the best option for a recorder would be a PMP. anybody use them before, if so, anythoughts on which is a good one to use???? I need some serious help on this one...

Check out Pete Fagerlin's site on helmet cam how-to. Lipstick cams vs. camcorder vs. PMP.

Given the cross-country nature of what you want to do, I'd probably opt for a helmet cam plugged to a camcorder stowed away in my backpack.

Thanks for the site, his first set up wouldn't really fit my needs. The reason I wanted to go with a 20/20 and pmp, is it would give me a tv quality vid ( not DVD, I know) but would be better than a memory stick cam ( samsung or panasonic) But he does have some interesting info there...
