Chain Recommendations
Looking for a strong chain that will withstand my Jumping/DH/Trail/Road Rides. Basically looking for one of the best chains that will accommodate for all of my needs.
I have heard of the Sram 9 Speed w/ Powerlink but want to get other opinions also. And what are the differences in the model numbers?
I have 27 speed gearing that I have eliminated the Big front sprocket making it 18. Not too sure if that makes any difference.
Please shed some ideas.
Thank you

The PC971 has a slightly nicer finish and a nickel coating on the outer link plates $23
The PC991 steps it up to nickel plating on inner and outer plates $38
The PC991 Hollow Pin adds hollow bushing pins saving you a whopping 18 grams (0.0396828 of a pound or 0.6349248 of an ounce) $48
Like I said, the 59 / 951 has served me well for years with no durability issues. You could spend more money, but I don't see a point in it.
