picking up a raleigh

looks like I'll be Picking up a raleigh mojave 8.0 like the features, feels real good when I ride it, a friend was kind enough to let me try his on some small trails, oh and the price is nice as well. any thoughts on the bike and the stock components.

Well I see you took up my advice. The mojave 8.0 is a great bike. My dad got one and he absolutely loves it. Is it 07 or 08. My dad has the 07 with the Sram componets. I think this year they are using shimano on it and rock shox tora fork. Anyways, its a great choice of bike. Have fun! Ride On!

I've seen them and used to work for a Raleigh dealer. I think Raleigh makes a great product overall and are one of the few bike brands out there that is primarily focues on the the bike shop (even though their sibling company Diamondback sells mercilessly to big box stores). If weren't for the sharp drop in demand in recent years they'd still be making some of the best mid-level mountain bikes on the market. Excellent choice!

Yea I wish they would make the RAM series again. I miss those bikes.
