Have any experience with Niner frames?
I am considering picking up a Niner frame in the near future but wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with them first. If / when I get one it will be the EMD (eat my dust) frame. I will be putting a Reba fork on it.
Any opinions appreciated.

Yeah, good to be back around. I decided today after doing an easy 15 mile mountain bike ride that my knees aren't going to allow me to race mountain bikes any more. So, I figured I might as well get a bike that is a little more comfortable to ride a few times a year and sell my race bike.

Okay, one last chance. Anyone know anything about these frames? My Nitrous is no longer so I am probably going to be placing an order later today.

My friend has a RIP Niner frame and loves it. He just raced Leadville and some other race out there on it. He's had no complaints.

I would love to have that RIP frame, just not sure how long it will be until they get them in stock. 4.5" of travel and a 29'er would be awesome!

I'd probably opt for the mcd 9, just because I like steel, especially when racing considerations are not in play.
A friend rides a SIR 9 setup rigid and single and likes it. and from what I have seen and read, Niner makes good solid frames.

Sorry, haven't ridden them. Seen a few here and there and they look really nice, I just don't have first hand experience with the ride. Seem to be a quality bike though, nice welds, good paint.
Let us know what you get.

They very well may be. I'm also considering going with a 5" travel 26'er. I haven't decided which way I am going to go yet.

I'm not a traditional kinda guy when it comes to my bikes. Heck...I ride a 32lb 5"er in Kansas of all places where a light weight 29er's momentum should do very well due to the rocky/rooty flatty trails.
I'm a huge fan of the Surly Pugsley, Burro Bikes, and Carver 96ers.
I don't know whether it's beautiful or ugly, but I want one.
