Best sun rims and (maxxis?) tires for dj/freeride

Hey, i'm just wondering what i should get for rims and tires(2.35")to upgrade my KHS(before i get the STP1, i would keep both). So far i have thought about Maxxis High Rollers and Sun SOS/S-type rims. I'm not looking for a new wheelset as i could care less for new hubs and spokes. Any suggestions would be good.

My bike has High Rollers and SOS rims. It's a tippy-top combo if you ask me.

I liked the High Rollers I ran last season; they seemed to grip in every condition (albeit they did not have to endure mud). Mine were the STs (Super-Tacky), which wear quicker but I felt were worth the trade-off. This year I'm running a DHF/DHR combo and have been very impressed; but the HRs did have less rolling resistance.

I won't embarrass myself by recommending rims. Last Suns I had were Mammoths.

What do you guys think about sun singletracks? They have 32 hole rims....which would mean i wouldn't have to get new hubs/spokes. Are they heavy? Durable? Anything strong and moderately light is good enough for me. Also would the singletracks work/fit well with the High Rollers? 'Cause that would be sweet.

don't know anything about the rims, but if their purpose is the namesake, they probably wouldn't be that great for dj and freeriding.

Damn, i hope that's not the case though - i guess i could throw in urban/park for my style as well.
My favourite riding style is slopestyle......but i don't do the slope' that often. So, my plan so far for some upgrades: Pedals: Wellgo MG-1 (hopefully this weekend)
Rims: Sun Singletrack
Tires: Maxxis High Roller's 2.35"
Fork: 07 Marzocchi AM 3, or RS Argyle

Everything else seems fine and i see no reason to upgrade. I don't think I need to go to hydro brakes just yet - next bike.

My son has a recently-purchased set on his Bullit which he abuses up on Galbraith in Bellingham, WA; but the jury is still out on whether or not they will hold up.

I would go with S-Types over Singletracks. Sure there a bit heavier but they're also a lot stronger. Pretty cheap also so thats always a plus.

i don't know......i'll think the singletracks would suit me better - i don't need the 'strongest' rim out there, anything that'll hold up well while checking in at a reasonably good price and light'ish(??).

ok, so that's set in stone - i'm getting the singletracks(urban camo model), and through several opinions, personal experience, price, and low rolling resistence i'm buying Kenda K-Rad's(2.3") for $22 a piece.
Also, jenson took there listing for the marzocchi am 3 fork off - now i'm hopefully(key word)buying Rockshox Argyle 302's in 'punish-mint' colour for $?? unknown. Wherever i see them on sale for $350 or less is where i'll probably buy them. I think theywill be the perfect fork for my upgraded rig. Anybody on here have experience with the argyles? If i CANNOT get them, i'll look at the dirt jumper 2 or 3's.

*note*i will not be getting any new forks for probably about 4 months minimum.
*end note*

An argly would be pretty awesome. I'm pretty sure Smashy used to ride one on his HT so you can ask him about it.
