Well, lets see...you can fit them to your hands/handlebars perfectly,they'll last forever,they come on/off your handlebars with no hassle,they look Cool!! Go For It!!
I get a lot of ribbing for having a Brooks B-17s saddle on my Mtb....Most comfortable saddle in the world,will last an eternity, and look really Cool too!
