Mate the past two Mountain Biking Australia mags have had something in them on it. They give it a thumbs up with a rating of 8/10. They rate the good comfort levels, good ventilation and superior protection. Trade offs are that it costs $180 and it weighs 352g, but the relatively high weight can be justified by the increased shell.

I dont personally have one, but I like the look them better than a roadie helmet. Better protection is more appropriate for MTBing aswell.

I have one ....
It has a tough shell ...
The weight on OZ MTB mag is different with mine.... I have a digital scale and it almost reach 400g, a bit heavy for me. The size is L / XL .... it;s not suitable for XC, it's more for trail .... IMO ...

I have a Fox Flux helmet that replaced my previous 3 helmets and I like it a lot. Fit is great, feels slightly heavier then my Giro, but way better air flow then my Protec.

Wow. Open-faced helmets . . . '60s technology invades the new millennium. What's next? Jofa mouth guards gonna make a comeback?
