What's the one thing you need to know about mountain biking?

If you were going to tell someone who was going to start mountain biking (not me) just one thing, what would it be? What would be the most important advice you could impart?

Mine would be "Use bugspray"

Ignore Zumba. He's been thinking he's Pete lately, only he has no idea what he's talking about.

i would teach them to lift there front wheel, because the rear wheel will follow. Therefore they will be able to get over anything they will find on a beginner trail.

Calculate the H-factor of your bike. This is your weight in pounds divided by the bike cost in dollars. If it's over 2.5, you should not even hop it off a curb.
