Derailleur Hangers

Hi.

I broke my derailleur hanger for the first time.

How does one find the right replacement hanger or are these fairly generic?

I have a SRAM X9 rear derailleur.

(p.s I broke this in a 50 mile race and miraculously made a single speed on the trail to finish the race. But that is another story.)

Thanks for the help,

- Mike

The derailleur hanger is frame specific. Your best bet would be to go to the dealer that you purchased your bike/frame from, they may have one in stock. If that doesn't work contact the manufacturer or check out derailleurhanger.com.

It wasn't the Vermont 50 race was it? Were you riding an Epic?
