questions of this combo(?)

Being a noob here, i was wondering if a drivetrain consisting of LX cranks and Sram powerglide cassette would work... Could you guys help me out here...

Pretty much the only thing you cant just whack on and go are bottom brackets (i.e. Octalink, ISIS etc) and chains (like puttin a 10 speed oad chain n your BMX for example's sake)

Maybe it will, maybe not? Depends on the shifters, DR's and chain you use. Nothing is wrong with that combination but you will need to be sure everything else is compatible.
