Shock Psi Question... Please Help!

I Have A Cannondale Rush (lefty) And Need Help With The Shock Pressures, Rode Yesterday @ 175psi Both Front And Rear And The Rear Seemed To Sag Really Bad.. I Weigh 275 Pounds (im Sure That Makes A Difference) Please Help, My Back Was Killing Me This Time. When The Lbs Set It Up For Me, I Did Not Have Back Problems Afterward

Not sure about Cannondales, but often, frame/shock manufaturers offer starting pressures based on weight. You might want to consult their website or owner's manual for these pressures. This may not be your optimized pressure, but it will be a pretty darn good start and feel free to add or subtract based on your preference.

Why did you change it after your LBS set it up? You use the air pressure to get the desired sag then fine tune from there...consult the manuals for your fork and shock to see what sag is recommended for your style of riding.

What does the owners manual or manufacturers website recommend you do to increase the sag?

I cannot for the life of me find anything on the website, The reason I changed it is the LBS said the pressures would have to be checked and filled up from time to time. I wanted to start fiddling with it to find the right balance. I am just afraid to use the weight minus 10% rule, I would be running 245psi. Unless the shock can handle it? Please give a little advice as to what the max psi is on the shocks

Thanks! That was exactly what I needed. Now I can play around with it and find the perfect set-up
