telluride weekend fun
my telluride pics
Well, had a pretty good weekend of riding in telluride. Rained on saturday be we managed to get a cold, wet, and muddy trail in. Absolutely beautiful town. I'll definately be back there in a week or two for more riding. This was my first time really experiencing TRUE downhilling. It's a lot of fun, but I truely do like XC more. We did this one trail where it was 2 miles up this steep grade, maximum granny gear the whole way, and then we just bombed down it on the way back.
I'll add this, front disc brake helps especially in the rain i found out. I think I like it better than a front V for sure. And my Marz Z1 FR performed flawlessly, i love that SOB. ETA rocks too especialy on those long treks uphill. Next weekend i might do a 4 day trip through the telluride area, but it's gunna be an epic trip. Anyways, lots of fun, thought i'd share it with you on this monday. Have a great week everyone.

Sound like a good weekend. My husband started a ride in Telluride and rode to Moab all in one week, staying in backcountry cabins the whole way. Telluride made his jaw drop (was coming from NJ at the time). He says we definitely have to return there some day, I've never been there.

The Telluride to Moab, hut to hut trip is awesome. Great biking, great scenery, everyone should do it

Gonzo (excuse me, Dr. Gonzo), you should check out Blues and Brews in Telluride next month. tellurideblues.com, I think is the website. The town's too damned expensive, but it's beautiful. I'm thinking about taking the roadie bike up there this year when we drive up for Blues and Brews, and maybe renting a DH bike or finding some XC trails.
