Clip In Pedals
When i got my bike (second hand) it came with Shimano DX clip in pedals. I do not have the special clip in shoes or anything and i downhill anyway, so i replaced them with the pedals off my old bike. Someone told me that clip ins are worth a fair bit so i was wondering how much theyd be worth.
So does anyone have a fair idea as to how much they are worth and if they are worth selling?:confused:

How new are the pedals? I think Shimano DX pedals are of the PD-M636/646, PD-545 and PD-424/434 SPD/platform variety of pedals. Are they one of these pedals?

I have seen them sell (used) on Ebay for around 45 to 50 USD.

Are they RED?
If so, they're a couple years old. Still good pedals, but the newer ones have a stronger axle and better bearings. Fiqure getting $30-$40 on eBay or BicycleBuys.

DUDE the red ones are soooo much nicer than the new ones... well ok the new ones have better bearings and all that but they AREN"T RED ...
Actually from what I've noticed the red ones have a stonger spring in them than the newer ones. I have two or three sets of the reds cause I like em so much!
Hey anthonaut you DH huh...well why don't you use them for that then? I use clipless on DH all the time seriously it makes riding DH faster easier! The bike boundes around under you alot less! Allows you to be smoother! I know it's a scary thought at first... but man I wont ride DH without em! No if you ride stunts...different story, I ride flats on that stuff!

Yeah they look heaps similar except they are not red. Theyre all sorta greyish/dark colours
