Bike Related Pronunciations

So I was looking for some shorts and wanted to throw in the word chamois to sound like I knew what I was talking about, but realized that I had no idea how to pronounce this word.

in car washing I usually pronounce Chamois as Shammy for some crazy reason... so how do you say it..

feel free to thow in other crazy bike words eg. SRAM (sssram not es-ram), deore(dee-or)i think, truvativ, etc.

It ticks me when people say dérailleur wrong, or cant say it at all.
"Derellya"
Hot dang.

Haha i met a guy trailside and he spent 5 minutes trying to pronounce Deore XT. In the end he just pointed to my "derellya" and said "That one".

Cannondale is pronounced "can-ON-dah-lay" if you're looking to mess around with people.

Or "Crack 'n' Fail" if you're talking to somebody who owns one.

For sticker/decal manipulators it sometimes becomes 'CAN O ALE'. Helmets can be 'SPECIAL ED' and 'YO'.
