what's a good rigid fork to use on a '06 6500 disk?

hey all, i'm going to remove the manitou and install a rigid. any trekheads have a suggestion?

Can't go wrong with a Kona P2 Disc fork.

Not disc of course, but just to get an idea.


You could even try a 29er P2 fork on the front...could be cool.

If you want to stick to Bontrager, they've got the switchblade rigid forks, in carbon and aluminum I think.

Yep. Get the 29er version of the Kona P-2 fork. It'll give you angles closer to what your riding already.
Most 26" rigid forks are way too short, even when they are "suspension corrected" versions.

awesome, choices... I'll measure the manitou tonite. Don't want anything shorter, the seat clamp is pretty much racheted back as it is.
btw, the kona looks sweet on that bike.
