Got some press again

Well, it isn't as cool as when I got my article published in Mountain Bike Action, but it's been a fun anyway (shameless self-promoter that I am ). Plus it's given me a couple more chances to give props to sponsors, which is never a bad thing. In May, our local outdoor monthly tabloid was doing a "What's Your Gear" feature and they wanted to feature a downhiller. I of course said 'yes' to an interview:

For this month, the same writer wanted to do a "Christmas Wish List" follow-up and reinterviewed all of us who were featured throughout the year (go to page 15 of the PDF):

Good article. Not quite what I expected from "Out" magazine, but good for you anyway.

Nice, Doug. Props to a fellow Washington MTB'er.

Hey - nice read. Good to see you're getting some (virtual) ink! Now that you're famous, will you still post on BikeFourms?

... Brad

Thanks! It was (ink) ink too. Needless to say, I grabbed about a dozen copies of each off the rack when they came out.

I tried to not let it go to my head when I got my sponsorship article published in Mountain Bike Action - - and failed miserably at that (which, by the way, was the Nov. 2005 issue, page 114 and available as a back issue here: https://www.zinio.com/issue?is=107000311&ns=zno) "Now that I'm famous" - - haha! Hey I know it's fleeting, so I'm milking my '15 minutes' for all it's worth.
