Aftermarket crank advice

I'm looking for a substitute crank for a vintage MTB build. It's getting real hard to nice Deore cranks in the 110 BCD versions that aren't completely used up. Sugino still makes it's XD triples with 46 or 48 big ring. Anyone else know of an alternative that wouldn't look out of place?

While I agree that the current crop of 4 arm small BCD cranks are superior to the old. They just look out of place on a vintage ride.

Nos

You might try some local bike shops. They will sometimes have NOS stuff around that will work nicely.

If I understand correctly, you only want NOS.

I've picked up NOS stuff on Ebay, a decent place to look. One seller is : http://stores.ebay.com/Jones-Bikes

There's a shop here in Olympia that has an amazing stock of older stuff, not cheap, though. Here they are:

I have a set of graftons from about '94 in working order. 180lb rider weight limit. How much you willing to spend?

Also check ebay, look for brands like cook brothers, kooka, grafton, raceface..

I've use them regularly for Campy. He used to have some nice XT cranks but wanted almost $200. I've seen used bikes with a full XT group for almost that. I'm not really looking to score an entire bike and strip it for parts right now.

cs1-

I have an old ('93) black LX 110mm bcd you could have for cheap. Still functions well, but lots of wear on the finish from shoes, scratches, etc..
