What parts have you used?
it's hard to believe stump can be 25lb

for example, I have all XTR and crossmax SL and some very light tires and all carbon components and can reach 25lb.

just curious.

RiCoh, please tell me what you think of the components. Do any need replacing do to cheap plastics? Please consult your local Performance dealer and get back to me. I need your expertise before I make my next bike purchase.

To the OP - that's a friggin SICK bike!

Rode one at a demo day. I was ready to sell my Epic if I could afford that S-Works. Very jealous, enjoy.

Those bikes always look like they have 3 feet of seatpost sticking out of the frame.

If you had half a brain you would have caught the part where he said it was his gift to HIMSELF.

He bought himself a gift! He gave himself a Christmas present, meaning he went to the store and bought it with his own money, for himself.

You are an idiot!

Sweet bike... and with the fastest color scheme on the planet!
Give me the stumpy to ride hard in the morning, and a Surly Big Dummy with a cooler of beer on the back for cruisin' in the evening ... well, that's about good as it gets.

It's a common practice. You save your money and then you reward your self at different times of the year. Unlike most "gifts" there are likely no strings attached.

And you get exactly what you want. Even w/ a very descriptive picture drawn my wife would buy me something she think I would want.
