BMX Seat / Seat Post???
Is there any reason not to use a BMX seat / seat post on a mountain bike?

Yea if it fits, no problem.

Just one more question, is 25.6mm and 25.4mm a negligible size? My frame says it takes a 25.6mm seat tube (which I'm having trouble finding), but I find lots of good ones in 25.4mm.

yes, there is a bit of a difference that can cause issues with certain frames.

it can rattle around, and over time crack the frame. thats the last thing you want to happen
