JUst wondering if the air forks use a shachder vavlve? or a different kind.

Nothing! Literally! Most forks require air pressures in the 150 p.s.i. range. Most garages only turn their compressors up to 90-100 p.s.i., so it would only pump up the forks about 1/2 way!
