Identify this Litespeed?

I was in the market for a mountain bike after road biking (I started on cheap little mountain bikes, but never ventured into anything of quality). Can anyone identify what year/model this bike is, and perhaps its value (that I would offer)? The size should fit and I was looking for a hardtail. I am not as well knowledged with mtb parts compared to road parts so anyone can shed light. Thanks again.

With XTR and PRO componets, someone halfway knowledgable took pride when he specced out and built that frame up.

if its a 26'er as opposed to a 27.5, theprice should be less, But its an expensive rig regardless

if it were my bike and i were selling it, i'd probably want aout what the starting bid is for the ebay bike (around 3500). - but the Enve bars and post are also very expensive chi-chi's on that one

if i were buying -- i wouldnt want to pay that much

It's a 2012 frame and I think they got it for around $1k used. How much are the XTR worth? Also, I have no idea if these wheels are considered good or not.

An XTR group is around $1800 new. The other components such as seat, seat post, headset, stem, bars and grips, pedals, add 500$. The fork is high end and worth up to 1000$ new. The wheel set around 800$ c/w the tires.

Yes -- lots of cash to put together a build like that - Let us know if you get it OP -- we will all give you a hearty "Congrats" --- that is, if it does ok on a shakedown cruise and most importantly, if it fits you well enough to be do-able with minor stem length changes

For the price this is likely to go for , if it is a local sale -- the seller should be accomodating enough to let you try it out on a bike path at minimum or a stretch of local singletrack as well

The seller says it's a size M frame and a 29er (but he doesn't know a lot about bikes). I'm out of town to check it out at the moment, but is there any way from the pic to see if what the seller says is correct? (I know with road bikes, it's pretty easy to tell the size visually).
