Giant Iguana 640 Info ??

Hi all,

I recently purchased a used Giant Iguana 640 but I haven't been able to find out much on this bike. As best I can tell, these were only produced in 1996 but I am not certain of that. Does anyone know much about this particular run of Iguana? Why the designation 640? And what distinguished it from other Iguana's? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks all.

Looks like it fell right between the '96 Iguana 630 and 650... Not quite as good as the '95 or '97 Iguana... (the frame tubing isn't double butted)

Specs look typical for a lower end bike from that era. Should be a nice bike for general riding around...
