Full suspension weight limits?

Is there a weight limit on F/S bikes? I weigh about 255 pounds and ride aggressive xc. I'm concerned that it may not hold up under those conditions (pivots, shock, etc). I love my hardtail but am captivated by some of the f/s rigs by Kona, Santa Cruz, and Ellesworth. My current hardtail is pretty much worn out and I'm in the process of building a Cove Handjob, I'd like to consider a f/s as a replacement but have been deterred by some of the comments I've read on the forum. What would the lifespan of a full suspension ride be given my weight and riding style, and what makes/models should a heavy rider consider?

You just have to change your spring rate for your weight. I'm also a big guy, and ride an Intense Uzzi SL. I ordered some special springs from FOX for my Vanilla Coil Shock and the bike rides fine!

Same here I've got a Specialized Rockhopper Comp FSR and have had zero problems with it. I made some mods of course but that's to be expected, as out of the box bikes are rarely set up perfectly for every rider.
