Daughters first single track ride! In the kiddie trailer!!!

OK, I was riding around the big open feild at the Georgia international horse park and decided to give the trail a shot with the kiddie trailer.

Well whadda ya know, it worked out great. We did not do the rock side because it is too dangerous but the dirt side had its challenges.

I even made it up all the climbs and Samantha laughed all the way. A true test of the cart if I say so myself.

Of course I could not bomb down hills or go fast on the flats but making it up the climbs was a feat in itself. Twice the trailer would not fit between some trees so we had to pick up and go around.

It was a blast.

could you adopt me and take me in a trailer?

might be 21, but i think it would be a blast and it's something my parents deprived me of when i was a child.

Stinky, The cart weight limit is 100 lbs. What do you weigh?

I think I am going to end up with a little daredevil of a daughter at this rate. She turns 2 next week.

Trek transport deluxe. A two seater. The little extra width kept it stable through the off camber stuff.

But I seriously warn others to be very careful if doing this. I went painfully slow to avoid serious jarring and bouncing. A narrower trailer would have tipped over I am certain of it.

Hey Sam, my son's new trick is to go as fast as he can on his little tricycle and slam into a tree or the concrete column between our garage doors. Obviously, he stops instantly, but when he hits, he does an endo and the back comes up about 4-6 inches. He just laughs.

Or, he gets going as fast as he can, then turns, going up on two wheels.

If and when he falls, he says, "That's why we wear helmets!".

He's a trip!

I never thought being a Dad could be this much fun!

That's cool, Sam! That cart ought to get you in shape for the 24 hour race, eh?

hahaha that sounds dope. it reminds me of when me and my friends were kids on our cheap supercycle wannabe bmx bikes we got from canadian tire... we used to do that too - ride into a wall or tree so we could do an endo (our bikes had pedal brakes hahaha).

a2, how old's your kid? i'm going to be a dad soon too - wife's due at the end of this month. can't wait heh.

He's 3.5 years old. He's at the age right now where everything he does is fun!

I've got to tell you though, the first six months were VERY hard for me. It was a huge adjustment for me. I was being very selfish and that's when my wife started getting symptoms of her (now 3 year old sickness), so her and I had MUCHO PROBLEMAS. Thankfully, we stuck it out and now are happier than ever!

Oh yeah! TAKE A TON OF PICTURES the first year. They change SO much, you think you'll remember, but you don't. Make sure you take at least ONE picture a week for his first year. In a couple years, you'll look through those pictures and be amazed!
