w00t, hurray for impulsiveness.

Walked into a shop today and threw a payment down on a Commencal Absolut a1. Going to throw a pair of 2.5 Nevagals on it front and back, better headset (most likely King) and a new pair of pedals (Odyssey JC's) and I'll have myself a decent 4X bike for the track we're building, plus a fun bike for some singletrack. People may tell me it's not the right bike for it, but **** it, I've been riding long enough to know what I like.

pics coming on Wednesday.

Sounds like a good ride, so long as you can get the seat up high enough for how you like to pedal it doesn't matter what the naysayers,...uh, say.

All I managed to get were some crappy cell phone pics, but they will suffice till I figure out my camera once again.

Seems pretty nimble, I haven't had it out in the trails yet so it's only been on some small jumps and trialsy stuff so I can't say for sure.

Man, I've been jonesin' for one of those, but they're almost impossible to get in my area. I'm not sure there's even a US distributor.

I managed to hook up the shop I used to work at as a dealer after interbike, so I got a bit of a deal on this one.
