My project build for the gf :)

My girlfriend always comes to the 24 hour race with me twice a year, and I sort of feel bad that she doesn't have much to do. Lately she's been saying she kind want a bike to ride around. I built a hardtail Cannondale cad3 (from 90s) with the spare parts I had accumlated over the years, and it was a 19" frame which is way too big for her.

My friend found a wicked deal on a 16.5" K2 frame, and we ended up trading frames. She is really excited to get a good bike of her own this year, so hopefully we'll be able to make good use of it. Here are some pictures of my project so far:







Maybe later she will be able to ride with clipless pedals, and then I can probably lose a pound off the bike without these platform pedals
