Where to buy Frames ONLY?

hey guys..

Where do you guys get frames only online? All I can find are the limited brands/models on Jenson, pricepoint, etc. I'm not finding Santa Cruz, Specialized, Kona, etc frames online... Is the LBS the only method for this? Or where could I get frames online?

Thanks.

You won't find Specialized frames online anywhere. Kona can be found at Wheelworld, and Santa Cruz at a variety of online retailers, but don't expect much of a discount on them.

If your heart is set on a Specialized product, yes.

I like Kona, so I new they offer frames. Can't speak for other company's though. Here's a link to some Kona frames.

Note: "Many other Kona frames are available,
please see your local Kona dealer for more info
."

Contact Larry@MtnHighCyclery. I don't know the full line of bikes he sells, but what ever he does sell I know he can get you a frame and at a very competitive price.

http://mtnhighcyclery.com or just email Larry directly at mtnhighcyclery@comcast.net

I think they need an updated website.

From what I've heard on here though, I would give them a call if I was building something up now.

Adrenaline Bikes in Orange, CA carries the most frames-only that I know of. They're the ones that have the busy full-page ads in the mags that are so crammed with microscopic 3-point type they make you dizzy; but it looks like their web site is more organized now.

Thanks.
Check the mfg's web site and www.mtbr.com for dealers that sell frames. I ride an Ellsworth, my wife a Santa Cruz and we bought our frames sort of on-line (from the mfg but it had to go through an authorized dealer)

Specialized and Kona sell a few frames, Santa Cruz sells frames (but will sell you a built bike on their web site)

any bike expos coming up not not too far away from you? i used to make this an annual bike retail therapy pilgrimage. aside from discount parts, many droolsome frames hanging out of the vendors stalls, BIG discounts, sometimes £100+ off.... ex- window demos, or just previous years stock, usually the same but with older paint designs, etc.. i like new things but when i'm at a show & see these shiny things, i'm not thinking of it's production date!

agreed. I went to their shop in tustin. small shop JAM packed with bike stuff. Thankfully they updated their website a few months back and now it is alot better organized as dminor said. Adrenaline has by far, the llargest frame selection that I know of.
