Healing vibes needed- SWD Owner

As it turns out, SWD owner, Steve Delay, has fallen into a coma and is on life support. Please send your healing vibes!

From https://trogspace.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1203615692
Everyone,
Steve went into the hospital Wed. night and could use everyone's prayers and get well thoughts. He is battling for his life right now. Steve is in a coma and on life support. They were going to run more test this afternoon and i will try and let you guys know what's happening. So, PLEASE NO PHONE CALLS. And send him your positive vibes. Steve is a fighter and let's show him how much we care.

Thanks, Gary
Very sad

Always sad when someone in the MTB community gets injured.

Did he get injured while riding?

From what I have gathered (second hand) it was due to an illness, not an accident.

Just an update, Steve passed away several days ago

Friends,

At 2:11pm today, February 25, 2008, Steve passed away. He was with his family and friends and it was peacful and gentle.

Please hold your calls, but feel free to eMail me directly at davebowman@clearchannel.com and I will be happy to put together a book of eMails for Jennifer and Steve's parents.

Thank you on behalf of the family for your thought, prayers, eMails texts and the outpouring of love and thoughts.

Dave! Bowman
He made some great bikes, truly a loss

My gosh; I'm so sorry I missed your original post on this, Matt. Steve was a top-notch individual in all ways and I will miss him.

I had to repost this pict from trogspace, it was so great. I always go a kick out of the fact that he joked that SWD stood for "Short White Dude."

First Sheldon, now Steve.
Who's next? This really sucks. Condolences of epic proportions to his family and anyone that knew him, he will be missed.

RIP
